Ever wanted to make fresh pasta from scratch? Join us at Anderson Market for Pasta 101, a hands-on class where you’ll learn the fundamentals of pasta-making step by step.

In this interactive workshop, we’ll guide you through creating fresh pasta doughs and shaping them into cavatelli and farfalle. Whether you’re a beginner or just looking to sharpen your skills, this class is designed to give you confidence in the kitchen.

Each participant will:

Learn pasta dough basics from scratch

Hand-form cavatelli and farfalle

Take home approximately 4 servings of fresh pasta

Receive a gnocchi board to recreate pasta at home

Led by the Mielou baking team, we’ll show you how our signature petite macarons come together, sharing tips, techniques, and a little behind-the-scenes pastry know-how along the way. It’s the perfect start to your weekend—come with friends, bring a date, or treat yourself to a night that’s equal parts delicious and delightful.

Join In The Wash Artworks at Anderson Market for a relaxed, creative watercolor class where you’ll paint a portrait of your own home. Before the class, I’ll prepare a light, custom sketch of your house so you can jump straight into the fun part- painting.

During the session, I’ll guide you step by step through color mixing, washes, shadows, and details to bring your home to life on paper. Whether you’re a beginner or have some painting experience, this class is designed to be approachable, supportive, and enjoyable.

You’ll leave with a finished watercolor painting of your home- perfect to frame, gift, or treasure as a keepsake. All materials are provided. Just bring a photo of your creativity!
